The Centre for Woman's Heath
The Centre for Women’s Health is composed of a growing team of health care professionals including family physicians, obstetrician/gynecologists, social workers, nutritionists, and dieticians. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a family physician accepting new patients, particularly a female physician. Some women do not feel comfortable discussing specific sensitive issues with their doctor. We hope to change that by providing services for all women who don’t have a family physician, as well as women who want to see a female physician or require specialized services relevant to women’s health care.

York Active North is a unique partnership, bringing together York Active Rehab, an active physiotherapy clinic located in York Central Hospital and Dr. Corey Adler of Oak Ridges Chiropractic. York Central Hospital - Satellite Dialysis Clinic
After two years of negotiation with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC), on January 12, 2005, York Central Hospital received funding approval for a dialysis satellite to be located in the Oak Ridges Medical Centre. The satellite will in clued an 18-station hemodialysis unit, a home hemodialysis program and out patient nephrology clinic space.

The York Region Addiction Treatment Centre is a private outpatient addiction facility that specializes in referrals from family physicians whose patients' driver's licenses have been suspended, and who are required to provide satisfactory medical evidence to the Registrar of Motor Vehicles of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation to support the reinstatement of their driving privilege.
