The Oak Ridges Medical and Urgent Care Centre (ORM UCC) is the fusion of the former Oak Ridges Medical Family Practice with the newly created Oak Ridges Urgent Care Centre. Located on the first floor of the new 13291 Yonge Street medical building, the ORM UCC will offer the benefit of the continuity of care of family practice with the convenience and extended-hours availability of an urgent care walk-in clinic.

The familiar staff and family physicians of Oak Ridges Medical will be augmented by a new partnership of emergency-medicine trained practitioners who will be able to offer a level of care well in excess of that offered in traditional walk-in clinics. Our new Urgent Care Centre will provide on site radiological service and have the capabilities to diagnose and treat fractures, suture lacerations, and a manage a host of other non-emergent medical concerns normally requiring an emergency department visit, however without emergency department waiting times.

Additionally, a wide range of medical specialists will work in concert with ORM UCC physicians to offer more timely care with the added convenience of offering consultations on-site.

Finally, we have the ability to electronically send summaries of your ORM UCC medical visit to your local family physician, further enhancing continuity of care and reinforcing our commitment to the Oak Ridges Community. The hours of the Urgent Care Centre are from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm on Friday and 9 am to 2 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, however patient registration closes at least 30 minutes prior to posted closing times should there be excessive patient volumes.
